Bushcraft Experience
During this week you will learn the basics of winter bushcraft. You will learn:
- How to build a camp with natural materials and snow.
- Making fire without a lighter or matches.
- Cooking on an open fire.
- Getting your bearings in the wilderness with map and compass.
Together we will trek on snowshoes through the magical winter world of northern Sweden in search of animal tracks such as moose, lynx and snow hares. Guides share their knowledge about nature and its inhabitants, and you can test your skills on an exciting orientation tour.
Ice Fishing
We drill a hole in the thick ice of Lake Akersjön and hang out our lines. In a sheltered spot, we build an outdoor kitchen to grill our catch directly. Mountain trout, pure with a little lemon pepper, tastes the very best.
Accommodation and meals
You can choose where to spend the night:
- In a home-built igloo or shelter.
- In a tipi heated with a wood stove, by the lake or in the woods.

- Shower and toilet.
- A kitchenette with hob, oven, fridge with freezer, coffee maker, kettle and toaster.
