Multi-activity week
The multi-activity week is suitable for everyone: young or old, good or not so good condition. We adjust the duration and intensity of all activities completely to your wishes and abilities. As always with Fjällspirit Adventures we personally take care of transportation to and from the nearby airport Östersund and you stay in our comfortable cottages with all necessary facilities.
Below you will find a brief description of the activities during this week.
Dog sled ride
Meet our social four-legged friends and experience the magic of a husky trek. Every morning we groom our huskies together and let them run free. You will learn all about the dogs, equipment and “mushen”. Then the huskies take you through snowy forest trails and across the frozen lake. Only the sound of the dogs and the gentle crunch of the sled accompany you as you glide through one of Europe’s last wildernesses.
Snowmobile tour
With the snowmobile we reach places that are otherwise difficult or even impossible to access. In advance you will receive appropriate clothing and clear instructions, including a test ride. This unforgettable trip takes us high into the mountains, where we hope to have encounters with reindeer or even an elk.
Snowshoe hike
With typical snowshoes, we will make our way through deep, untouched snow. Along the way you will imagine yourself in a magical fairytale forest, learn to recognize animal and footprints, and discover more about the flora and fauna of the area. The hike will be fully adapted to your fitness level.
Ice Fishing
Right outside the door is Lake Akersjön, perfect for ice fishing. We drill a hole in the thick ice and let out our lines. On the shore we make a cozy campfire, where we enjoy hot drinks and conversation. If luck is on your side, we grill the freshly caught fish directly on the fire.
Day off
On your day off, book additional activities, such as winter bushcraft or winter survival, or enjoy a leisurely walk or a good book.
