Back to Nature offers outdoor activities for young and old, taking you back to nature. It is the perfect partner for anyone seeking connection with the natural world.

Project U-Turn

Project U-TURN vzw’s mission is to help people with disabilities realize that a disability does not have to be a limitation to their lives. This is achieved by organizing adventurous and back-to-basics activities at home and abroad.

How does it work?

No aids, no adapted transportation or lodging, but a tent in the wild.
Activities that challenge participants mentally, such as climbing a volcano in Nicaragua, let them see that small challenges in daily life become easier.
Groups are formed so that everyone helps each other. For example: a visually impaired participant pushes someone in a wheelchair, while the person in the wheelchair becomes the eyes of the visually impaired person.

Project U-TURN’s core values are adventure, team spirit and back to basics. These tools are used to promote acceptance, rehabilitation and (re)integration into society.
