The quiet tour - for women
Experience an alternative winter vacation away from mass tourism. Enjoy nature and silence with relaxing activities in a cozy atmosphere. This tour is perfect for women looking for peace, adventure and unique experiences in the winter nature of Sweden.
Winter survival
During this activity we will go back to basics and learn how to survive in winter nature with minimal resources. You will learn:
- Making fire without a lighter.
- Building a shelter or igloo.
- Safe handling of axe and knife.
- Recognize hazards and assess situations safely.
Adventurers can choose to spend the night in an igloo or shelter, offering an unforgettable experience.
Husky Walk
Meet our social huskies and learn all about the dogs, the necessary equipment and mushen. Then you and your four-legged companion will set off through snowy forest trails and across the frozen lake. All day, you will be responsible for your hiking partner, making for a unique bond and experience.
Snowshoe hike
With typical snowshoes, we make our way through deep, untouched snow. Along the way we will discover the magical fairy forest, learn to read animal tracks and the guides will tell us all about the flora and fauna of the area.
We rest in a wooden tipi and enjoy a Sami specialty prepared on the fire. After a delicious meal, we get ready to return under millions of stars through the nocturnal winter forest.
Ice Fishing
Lake Akersjön, right outside our door, is perfect for ice fishing. We drill a hole in the thick ice and lower our lines. On the shore we make a crackling campfire, where we grill the catch directly with hot drinks and conversation. Pure with a little lemon pepper, the mountain trout tastes the very best.
Day off
On the day off, you can enjoy silence and nature in your own way. All the material you learned to use earlier will be at your disposal.
Accommodation and meals
